The song comes from the 2005 movie 'Jithan', which marked the lead debut of actor Ramesh (henceforth credited as Jithan Ramesh), brother of actor Jiiva. The movie was a Tamil remake of the 2004 Hindi hit 'Gayab' starring Tushar Kapoor, focusing on a protagonist who gains invisibility. The soundtrack was composed by Srikanth Deva.
