Song interpretation

'Po Nee Po' from the 2012 movie '3' is a poignant, heart-wrenching track expressing raw emotional pain, heartbreak, and fatalistic resignation. The protagonist, struggling with mental anguish and an inevitable tragic end, desperately pushes his lover away to spare her from suffering alongside him. He describes his state as that of a living corpse, where even past affectionate memories feel like burning wounds. Despite the intense love he holds for her, he accepts that fate has played a cruel joke on his life. By repeatedly telling her to go away ('Po Nee Po'), he makes a painful self-sacrifice, choosing isolation over dragging his beloved into his dark and declining existence.
