Aaduringa paaduringa from Rani Lalithangi (1957) is a playful folk-style teasing song in which women mock a man trying to act clever and charm them. They tease his restless antics—dancing, running, hiding, and attempting to spellbind them with sly glances and magic dust (sokkupodi). The singers call out his charade, comparing him to a scarecrow (solakollai bommai) pretending to be a legendary hero like Madurai Veeran. Filled with energetic folk rhythm, vocal sound effects, and rooster crow imitations, the song warns the man that his tricks (paachaa) won't work on them.
