Song interpretation
This song is a satirical street-theatre/folk narrative depicting various marital grievances and societal hypocrisy experienced by women in local communities. Through a series of humorous yet poignant vignettes presented in a folk style, different women share their tragic stories: one who was sold off by her husband to an old man for money, another who faces constant unwarranted suspicion from an overly possessive husband, and a third who worked endlessly in Dubai to fulfill her husband's material demands only to return home and find him unfaithful.
