இமையில் இரண்டு நிலவு நுழைய

இரவும் பகலும் கனவு விரிய

குலுங்கும் வளையல் நடனம் புரிய

சிவந்த விரலில் மெஹந்தி வரைய

இதயம் முழுதும் ஏக்கம் தெரிய

பழக வேண்டும் தூக்கம் குறைய

கல்யாணப் பெண்ணே உன் கன்னம் எங்கும்

வெட்கம் வரைய

கண்ணன் வந்தான் உன்னை அறிய

வாழ்த்து சொன்னோம்
