Composed by Ilaiyaraaja and penned by Vaali, the song is sung on the wedding night by Chandrakumar (played by Mohan) to his newlywed wife Divya (played by Revathi), who enters the marriage unwillingly and refuses intimacy due to her past emotional baggage.
