Song interpretation
This playful folk duet from Aval Yaar (1959) features a banter between a bold woman and a defiant man, framed around traditional village metaphors of bull-taming (Jallikattu). The female lead boasts that she can tame even the most wild bull using just her eyes and a whip hidden behind her back, threatening to bring him under control with oil-cake and feed.
