தோளிலந்த சாரங்கம் எடுத்து

வரவேண்டும் நீயே

கணை தொடுத்திட வேண்டும்

அரக்கியின் வாழ்வை அழித்திடுவாய் நீயே

அனந்த சயனத்தில் பள்ளியெழுந்து

வாராய் திருமாலே

உன் அன்பரை யெல்லாம் துன்பத்திலிருந்து

காப்பாய் பெருமாளே

Taking up the Sharanga bow hanging on your shoulder

You must come

You must aim your sharp arrow

You shall destroy the life of the demoness

Awakening from your blissful cosmic slumber

Come, Lord Thirumal

From all the tribulations of your devotees

Save them, Oh Lord Vishnu....
