தொட்டு அனைத்தால் காதல்தான்

முத்தம் கொடுத்தால் காதல்தான்

மூச்சைப் பறித்தால் காதல்தான்

If she smiles gently, that is love

If lightning strikes, that is love

If she blinks her eyes, that is love

If she waves her hand, that is love

If she leaps in joy, that is love

If she touches and embraces, that is love

If she gives a kiss, that is love

If she snatches your breath away, that is love

காதலித்துப்பார் காலம் வென்றிடும்

தெருவிளக்கெங்கும் நிலா தென்படும்

காதலித்துப்பார் பாடப்புத்தகம்

கவிதைத்தொகுப்பாகும்

Try loving, you will conquer time

The moon will appear in every streetlight

Try loving, a textbook

Will turn into a poetry anthology

காதலித்துப்பார் உண்மையில்

கைது செய்யலாம் காற்றையும்

காதலித்துப்பார் நண்பனே

வாழத்தோன்றுமே நாளையும்

தேவதைகளின் ஆசிதானே

காதலென்று கூறுகின்றேன்

Try loving, in truth

You can even arrest the wind

Try loving, my friend

You will feel like living tomorrow as well

Love is the blessing of angels

This is what I tell you

காதலிப்பதால் வானவில்லினை நீ

குடைகளுக்குள்ளே நாளும் வைக்கலாம்

காதலிப்பதால் மூளை எங்கிலும்

குடையும் சந்தோஷம்
