Beyond the translation

Song interpretation

The song 'Iraiva' expresses intense emotional conflict, existential angst, and passionate romantic devotion. The protagonist calls out to God as both the creator and the source of his suffering, lamenting that his mind has turned into a chaotic battlefield and his soul feels as though it is burning. Amidst this dilemma of whether to survive or surrender, he turns to his beloved as his ultimate sanctuary, asserting that life without her is tantamount to death.
