நான் கவிதை என்கின்றேன்

விரல் தீண்டியே உயிர் வார்க்கிறாய்

எனை சேர நீ எதை கேட்க்கிறாய் சொல்

If your gaze falls upon me

I turn into dust

If I hear you speak a word

I call it poetry

You pour life into me with the touch of your finger

இரவெல்லாம் நெஞ்சில்

சின்ன சின்ன அவஸ்த்தை

எதுவென்று சொல்ல இல்லை ஒரு வெவஸ்த்தை

உனை எண்ணி தினம் புல்லரிக்கும் மனதினை

செல்லரிக்க விடுபவள் நீதானே

All night long, there is a subtle restlessness in my heart

There is no way to describe what kind of feeling it is

My heart gets goosebumps daily thinking of you
