In this land of sulfur...
Our community burned to ashes.
Having lost our loved ones...
Half of our people are trembling in panic.
In this land of sulfur...
Our community burned to ashes.
Having lost our loved ones...
Half of our people are trembling in panic.
From which path the God of death came,
No one really knows.
Even God did not run to help us
In our time of danger.
A windless cry of agony
Pierces through the ears.
All the hard-working bodies
Lie melted on the ground.
In this land of sulfur...
Our community burned to ashes.
Having lost our loved ones...
Half of our people are trembling in panic.
This is a life shedding tears,
Which deity is there to protect us?
If the father is alive, the mother is not,
If the mother is alive, the father is not.
If there are legs, there are no eyes,
If there are eyes, there are no ears.
Just to feed our stomachs,
We suffer throughout the year.
Who is the father of the child in the womb?
We are left searching....
In the lap of death,
Embracing it, we live.
Upon this sulfur-laden soil,
Like cooked rice,
We got scattered and destroyed.
Upon this sulfur-laden soil,
Like cooked rice,
We got scattered and destroyed.
