Song interpretation
Iru Kangal Podhaadhu is a poignant Tamil elegiac song expressing unbearable grief and sorrow over the untimely demise of a loved one. Watching the final funeral procession, the protagonist laments how cruel fate has extinguished a pure life so prematurely.
