Beyond the translation

Song interpretation

This song expresses the deep yearning, heartbreak, and emotional isolation of a heroine longing for her beloved. She reflects on how a man whose origins were unknown to her entered her life, captivated her heart with his charm, and then disappeared, leaving her unfulfilled like an unbloomed flower bud. She recalls how he entered her heart through her eyes, cast a spell of silent desire over her, and then lost his way. The heroine laments that the nature elements he used to praise her with—comparing her face to the moon and her movement to the gentle breeze—now seem hostile to her in his absence. Despite the truth and depth of their love, she finds herself entirely alone with no one to advocate for their reunion.
