On the beautiful mountain of Anjanadri,
Performing intense penance day and night,
The wife of Vanara (monkey king) Kesari became a mother.
He was born as the son of the wind god,
And mastered the eight mystical powers (Ashta Siddhis).
Behold Hanuman, the son of Anjana!
When morning dawned, he felt hungry,
And the sun looked like a sweet fruit to his eyes.
Ah, wishing to relish and taste it,
Hanuman flew close to it.
As the earth was plunged into darkness,
The whole world trembled in fear.
Seeing this happen immediately,
Indra stepped in,
And riding his elephant Airavata,
He struck Anjaneya, hurling his thunderbolt (Vajra).
In that clash, from the child of the wind god,
A tiny drop of shed blood
Came rushing down toward the earth,
And fell into the deep ocean.
Reaching the ocean's deepest floor,
It found shelter inside an oyster shell.
As ages upon ages passed away,
It transformed there into Hanuman's sacred gem (Rudra Mani).
For a good person who is truly worthy,
It waits across countless ages.

This song narrates the mythological prologue of the superhero film 'Hanu-Man'. It begins with the birth of Hanuman on Anjanadri hill after intense penance by Anjana, blessing him with Ashtasiddhi powers as the son of Vayu. As a child, Hanuman mistakes the rising sun for a ripe fruit and leaps into the sky to eat it, casting darkness over the earth. Sensing danger, Lord Indra rides Airavata and strikes Hanuman with his Vajrayudha weapon. During the altercation, a divine drop falls into the depths of the Bay of Bengal and rests inside an oyster shell. Over eons, this drop crystallizes into the 'Rudra Mani', a mystical gem awaiting a pure and deserving human to whom it will bestow divine powers.
