பனியில் தெரியும் மழையின்

அழகோ தாங்கவில்லை உந்தன்

கைகள் பிடித்து போகும் வழி

அது போதவில்லை இன்னும்

வேண்டுமடி இந்த மண்ணில்

இதுபோல் யாருமிங்கே

எங்கும் வாழவில்லை

என்று தோன்றுதடி

For two hearts to unite and speak in this world,

No spoken language is ever required.

In the drop of dew resting upon a tiny blade of grass,

The grand mountain's reflected beauty is overwhelmingly beautiful.

The journey walked holding your little hands,

Is never long enough; I yearn to walk further, my child.

On this vast earth, no two people,

Have ever lived with such pure love anywhere, so it feels to me.

தூரத்து மரங்கள்

பார்க்குதடி தேவதை இவளா

கேக்குதடி தன்னிலை மறந்தா

பூக்குதடி காற்றினில் வாசம்

The distant trees stand and watch in awe,

Wondering if she is an angel come down.

Forgetting itself in wonder, nature blossoms,

And fills the passing breeze with sweet fragrance.

ஆனந்த யாழை

மீட்டுகிறாய் அடி நெஞ்சில்

வண்ணம் தீட்டுகிறாய்

Looking closely at your innocent face, it feels as if,

The moon in the night sky is far too small.

Hiding behind the thick clouds, it peers at you,

And humbly asks you to lend it your radiance.

அதை கையில் பிடித்து

ஆறுதல் உரைத்து வீட்டுக்கு

அனுப்பு நல்லபடி இந்த மண்ணில்

இதுபோல் யாருமிங்கே

எங்கும் வாழவில்லை

என்று தோன்றுதடி
