Beyond the translation

Song interpretation

This song is a satirical and philosophical warning about the deceptive nature of the world and the importance of heeding wise counsel. It cautions that outward appearances can be misleading—just as white stones hide in milk, or a tiger hides in cow's skin. Ignoring wisdom and acting out of headstrong stubbornness leads to ruin, compared to a stubborn horse that loses its legs in battle.
