ஒரு வீணையிலே இசை வாசிக்கின்றாள்

மலை மோகினியாள் சுவையாக

எழில் மேடையின்றி நடமாடுகின்றாள்

பனி மேக மகள் சுகமாக

இளந்தொட்டில் ஆட்டும் குன்றமே

விளையாடி காட்டும் மன்றமே...

She plays music on a veena,

Delightfully, like a enchantress of the mountains.

Without a formal beautiful stage, she dances,

Pleasantly, like the daughter of misty clouds.

Oh hills that rock like young cradles!

Oh gathering spot displaying rich nature!

பலர் வேர்வையிலே இவள் வாழுகின்றாள்

நல்ல பசுமையுடன் உயர்வாக அவர்

வேதனையை இனி தீர்த்து வைப்போம்

இந்த தேசமெங்கும் நிலையாக

அவர் நாடு காக்கும் செல்வங்கள்

இந்த காடு கண்ட தெய்வங்கள்..ஆஹாஹா..

Nourished by the sweat of many, she thrives here,

Growing high with luscious greenery;

We shall forever relieve their pain,

Making prosperity permanent across this nation.

They are the treasures protecting our land,

The living deities found in these forests... ahahaaa.

ஒரு தேவதையின் கருங்கூந்தலை போல்

மலை சரிந்திருக்கும் அழகாக

அதை வாரி விட்டு ஒரு பூ முடிக்க

இளங்காற்று வரும் இதமாக

இந்த இன்பலோகம் சொர்க்கமே

எங்கும் இந்த ஊர் என் சொந்தமே...

Like the long black hair of a goddess,

The mountain slope descends beautifully.

To comb it out and adorn it with a flower,

The young breeze approaches gently.

This world of bliss is true heaven,

This entire land belongs to me as my home.
