மந்திரமோ மாயமோ தெரியல்லே

என்ன மருந்து வச்சிருக்கானோ புரியல்லே

அத்தான் பின்னாலே தன்னாலே ஓடுது

எண்ணாத எண்ணமும் எண்ணுது

அது ஏட்டிக்கு போட்டியாய் ஏதேதோ பண்ணுது

இங்குமங்கும் எங்கும் சுத்துது

அவன் இருப்பிடம் தெரியாமே ஏமாந்து தவிக்குது

It contemplates all kinds of thoughts,

It acts contrarily and does unpredictable things,

It wanders here, there, and everywhere,

Not knowing his whereabouts, it feels deceived and suffers.
